Harbor House Café is known for good, friendly service and large portions. For over 70 years we have been serving our customers with quality food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Our dishes are made with the freshest ingredients and are prepared from scratch every day.
Both of our restaurants, Sunset Beach and Dana Point, will take you back in time with movie memorabilia and antique displays. Come in to any of our restaurants, you'll feel right at home.

There is California written all over our lunch menu with the turkey and avocado croissant, California chicken sandwich and the popular hot crab meat sandwich on grilled sourdough bread. That sounds good, right? Or you might be in the mood for a half-pound burger. We have the traditional hamburgers with a wide variety of cheeses or go for the guacamole burger for something different.
Our dinner menu is something else. The Harbor House Café boasts an extensive array of dinner choices. From quesadillas and fish tacos to albacore stir fry and lemon pepper chicken; you can’t help but notice the eclectic choices available. Fish and chips are with Alaskan Halibut and the steaks are aged USDA choice sirloin. Chicken with fresh biscuits is served during the dinner and evening hours.
More recent additions to the evening menu include quiche and spaghetti with meat or marinara sauce. Grilled beef liver is something you don’t see on menus very often these days but they have it at the Harbor House Café. When it is time for dessert, the gourmet pie items are difficult to pass up. The pies are guaranteed to be fresh and include triple chocolate pecan, Oregon blueberry, Washington apple and, of course, key lime. New York cheesecake is also on the menu as is pineapple coconut cake.
You can see that although the menu is decidedly Californian, there are elements from regions across North America and beyond.

T-Shirts
Harbor House Cafe T-shirts are available at both locations. There are a variety of colors and sizes to choose from. Small through X-large short sleeve t-shirts are $15. XX- large short sleeve T-shirts are $20 .
We also offer long sleeves for $20 and sweaters for $25 during the winter season all items are tax free. Stop by and see what is available. Larger sizes or optional styles may be available through special request. And always feel free to ask our staff for specialty souvenirs.
